was denied the right to vote yesterday for provincial elections.
reason is my failure to prove my residence within that riding aka
i had only an online bank statement to show them (i actually brought my
laptop with me), as no one at my house owns a printer. also, there was the
option of my housemate vouching for me, but this failed too since first time
registered voters can't do so it seems.
this weekend found me in seattle. in particular, on saturday night (about 12:30am)
'sandstorm' was played on 89.5. teague, will, jeff and i got a shout-out on the station for
requesting this song on repeat for an hour:
"...they're driving around seattle doing some crazy stuff. there's no chance in hell we're gonna
play this for an hour."
